HELLO WORLD

About US

In 1993, a group of American scholars teaching English abroad created the Hello World teaching method, a systematic approach that is student-centered and content-based.  Based on the premise that learning a language requires more than just the rote memorization of grammar, vocabulary, and syntax, Hello World Language Center emphasizes the importance of gaining a deep understanding and respect for a culture.  As a result, students at Hello World are encouraged not only to improve their English language skills, but also to learn about American culture.  In this way, we believe that students are more motivated to acquire and retain their language skills.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the highest quality English language learning experience for international students who also seek an authentic understanding of American culture.

To achieve our mission, we are committed to the following:

-        The implementation and continual development of an innovative and student-centered curriculum

-        The facilitation of a positive learning environment for our students

Today, Hello World continues to provide its students with the best language learning experience in New York City.

Our Classes

We have an average of 8 students per class so that all students receive the individualized attention they deserve.

Students can mix and match classes according to their strengths in different areas of learning.  We also offer evening classes.

All of our instructors are passionate about teaching English. They have experience teaching overseas in various countries, including France, Japan, Korea, and Argentina.

Students will have access to an interactive online lab where they can find class information, assignments, and additional learning materials.

All new students are assigned to a Personal Advisor who will address any questions or concerns they may have.
